Anish Ranabhat (He/Him), Disability Studies
Hello, I’m Anish Ranabhat, a second-year Disability Studies student, and I’m running to be your Faculty Representative. I believe in the power of student leadership to create meaningful change — and I’m ready to be a strong, reliable voice for you.
With extensive leadership experience, I bring strong skills in teamwork, advocacy, and effective communication. I have always stood up for inclusion and fairness, and as a Disability Studies student, I am deeply passionate about building a campus where accessibility and equity are not just talked about — but genuinely practiced every day.
I believe NorQuest College should be a place where every student, regardless of background or ability, feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed. If elected, I will focus on:
- Reviewing campus accessibility to ensure facilities and services meet students’ needs
- Organizing meetings where students and faculty can discuss key issues like grading and course design, to build trust, improve communication, and increase transparency
- Expanding and creating programs like the Global Café to promote global cultural understanding and inclusion, giving students opportunities to learn from and about each other’s cultures
As your representative, I will work tirelessly to turn accessibility and inclusion from words into meaningful actions that improve daily student life.
Let’s make NorQuest a place where everyone feels included and supported.
Vote Anish Ranabhat — I’m here to listen and take action for you.
