Campus SafeWalk Program
Campus SafeWalk is a volunteer and employee driven service. This program is dedicated to reducing the risk of physical and/or emotional harm to NorQuest students, employees, and guests during our operating hours within our service area at no cost.
A team of two trained SafeWalkers will accompany you to the Corona LRT station or your bus stop or your vehicle in our service area at your request.

Note: All users must complete a SafeWalk Request Form before using our service. You can fill it out at the station at 2-006, SCFL (near the Learner Centre).

Who can access the SafeWalk program?
The Campus SafeWalk program is available to all registered NorQuest College students, employees, and guests (NorQuesters) at no cost to the user.
When can I access the SafeWalk service?
The Campus SafeWalk program is available weekdays from 4:15 pm to 9:15 pm.*

Why do you need my personal information?
Your personal information helps our SafeWalkers identify you as a NorQuester and helps in Data collection for the success of our program. We will not use or share your personal information other than that of its intended purpose.
Why do I need the Campus SafeWalk services? Is the Campus unsafe?
Our goal is to reduce the risk of physical and/or emotional harm to our students, faculty, and guests in the evenings in and around Campus. The Campus SafeWalkers are here to support you to get to the Corona LRT station or a bus stop or your vehicle in our service area with peace of mind.
Will I be safe walking with the SafeWalkers?
The Campus SafeWalkers undergo safety training procedures that aid to reduce risk of physical and/or emotional harm to you, themselves, and others around campus. We welcome your feedback regarding your experience during your accompaniment service.
Is the surrounding campus area unsafe?
There is strength in numbers. The purpose of the Campus SafeWalk Program is to enhance your safety and reduce the risk of victimization. Our SafeWalkers are here to support you whether you are heading to your vehicle, the Corona LRT Station, or a bus stop within our service area, so you can get there with peace of mind.
Can I access Campus SafeWalk if I am under the influence
Campus SafeWalkers are available to accompany anyone who is respectful, aware of their surroundings, and able to communicate clearly. Our goal is to provide all NorQuesters with access to a safe accompaniment service around the campus. Please be kind and considerate – our volunteers are here to support you!
How many times can I use SafeWalk services?
There is no limit. Whether it’s your first time or fiftieth, we are happy to walk with you.
