Volunteer Information Sheet

Important information about the SANQC Volunteer Program:

All volunteers must be current NorQuest students.
Each volunteer is automatically included in our general volunteer program. While you can apply for specific roles that might have openings, you will always be included in this flexible role.
By signing up to be a volunteer and attending the mandatory orientation date, you will receive a volunteer e-newsletter with monthly activities and tasks where your support is needed. Each volunteer will also get information about community volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers are enrolled into our Volunteer Incentive Program which includes volunteer points, exciting appreciation incentives, certificates, as well as training & development opportunities.
By signing up to be a volunteer you understand that you are required to attend the mandatory volunteer orientation. See the important dates listed on the Volunteer page.
Volunteers who are super keen to apply for additional, specific roles can meet with Lin to talk about your interests and which roles you want to learn more about. Schedule a meeting by emailing lin.wang@norquest.ca.
Get ahead of the game and take a look at the volunteer roles you may be interested in on the Volunteer page. There may be limited spaces for specific roles. While not everyone can be selected, everyone stays a volunteer in our general program and can select opportunities from the newsletter each month to stay engaged.

Make sure to submit your volunteer application before the deadline mentioned in the Important Dates section on the Volunteer page.
