Starting Mon, Nov 3 until Thu, Nov 20 at 4 pm, you can help eligible NorQuest students* in need who have registered celebrate the holiday season by donating gifts for them and/or their children, 17 and under ($25 value per gift).

*Must be a current Fall term NorQuest student in a credit program and must be a current Students’ Association member (have paid SANQC fees this term).

When shopping, these are the gift types that are typically the most requested:

• Comfort: blankets, hats & mittens, scarves, earmuffs, hand warmers, fuzzy socks, ornaments and decorations, etc.
• Personal Care: nail kits, clippers, neutral soap, neutral shampoo, creams, body wash, skin care gift sets, lip balm, face wash, toothpaste & brush, etc.
• Recreation: Puzzles, novels, board games, activity books, craft sets, card games, art sets
• Toys: Princesses, my little pony, flowers, dolls, makeup/nail kits, tea sets, books, blocks, stuffed animals, dinosaurs, super heroes, pokemon, cars, figurines

Keep in mind that students can register their kids from toddler to age 17. A variety of gifts in these age ranges will be greatly appreciated by them!

Please ensure that all gifts purchased are as close as possible to $25 in value.

Gift Drop Off

Once you’ve purchased your gift(s), please drop them off, unwrapped, to the SANQC Office (1-114, SCFL) by Thu, Nov 20 at 4 pm.

Don’t want to shop but still want to support NorQuest students in need?

If you would like to donate cash, please send an e-transfer to: Students.Association@norquest.ca.

Want to help out in person?

Students will shop from the donated/available gifts. Drop by the Multi-Purpose Space (1-096) between 9 am – 4 pm on weekdays between Mon, Nov 24 – Thu, Dec 4 and help students pick gifts for themselves and their kids and to do some gift wrapping!
