Your Students’ Council, Your Voice to Decision Makers, Your Student Experience!

Nominations are now open for the upcoming Students’ Council Election. Submit your nomination package before the deadline of Thu, Sep 15 at 12 pm MT. Get your nomination package here or email students.association@norquest.ca.

As students, you have unique perspectives and talents. We value your input and want to help you create positive change for students, by students. By running for Students’ Council, you have the opportunity to learn new skills and enhance your resume while advocating for students at NorQuest. Being on Students’ Council opens up many opportunities for training, development as well as scholarships and awards.

Do you have questions about what it means to be on Students’ Council or about the nomination process? We are here for you! Send your questions to us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, by email at students.association@norquest.ca, or drop by the SANQC Office (1-114 SCFL). Find out more about the 10 hour monthly requirement, the honorarium that you will receive for your contributions, or just to learn about the team.

Complete a nomination package found here then email it to students.association@norquest.ca. The submission deadline is Thu, Sep 15 at 12 pm MT.

Once the nomination deadline passes, we’ll email you as well as the students who nominated you so we can get your electronic signatures. Make sure the students that nominated you know to watch their email so they can help finalize your nomination package.

  • Thu, Sep 15 @ 12 pm MT: Nomination Deadline
  • Mon, Sep 19 @ 9 am MT: Nominator Verification Deadline
  • Tue, Sep 20 from 5:30 – 7 pm MT: Mandatory All Candidates Meeting
  • Sep 26 @ 12 pm – Sep 28 @ 12 pm: Students’ Council Election Voting Period
